Revenge, anger, rage? They're hardly words in your vocabulary.
If someone wrongs you, you move on. You rather be indifferent than upset.

First, you need to know what your partner’s interests are. Do they enjoy food, wine, cars, sports, etc? Do they have a product or company that they especially love? Look for tours that fit their personality for the biggest impact. For example -- for car lovers, check with any local auto-manufacturing plants for tours. Follow the date up with a test drive in one of their favorite cars.
Next, you’ll need to see what’s available to you in your area. Use the phone book to find companies that suit your partner’s interests. Call them up to see if they offer tours or if you can arrange a private tour. You can also go to your city’s visitor’s bureau website. Most cities will have a list of companies that offer tours in their activities section.
- Transportation related: auto-manufactures, out of commission planes or submarines, trains, trucks, motorcycle plants (Harley Davidson has an amazing tour.)
- Snack related: favorite brand of snacks, favorite candy or soda, local candy makers.
- Food and wine related: wineries, local breweries, gift food distributors (think Harry & David).
- Behind-the-scenes tours: amusement parks, museums, zoos.
- Business-oriented: take your date on a tour of a local business to see how they do things. This is especially great when your partner is considering venturing into something new. You’ll need to contact the owner of the company and explain what you want in order to pull this date night idea off.

Last weekend, hubby and I went to buy some groceries for the week, but I needed to go to the Dollar Store to get something, and so hubby decided to go to the ATM to deposit a check we got in the mail. But then he told he put his blue tooth on his polo's pocket. And that's where he lost it, he guessed. And so, it's been two days that we were quite felt bad that he lost his blue tooth. So, I started browsing online to get some blue tooth for him for cheap. When I came to the point of ordering it, I felt like I would have just to wait until I get paid from one of the blog advertising site, I joined to.
So by the next morning, hubby and I, decided to go to Arby's Restaurant, to get some snack, and after we ate, we went back to the car and decided to just go home. And then, we just like talking about his blue tooth, and I told him to just go back to the bank and see if his blue tooth was still there or somewhere, but he wasn't sure, though if that's the place where he left it. So, I thought about his cellphone, a couple of months ago, the old one, that we thought he lost too.. But he just found it under his car seat. And so, I was like, probably it was just here in the car, somewhere and I was right! It was just sitting on my car seat all the way in, where you couldn't see them visibly....I was like, oh my gosh, here it is! Well, totally a funny moment for us, though! So, now I am quite sure, that everytime my husband lost something, it is could possibly just in the car. Good thing it was just in the car, though! whoo woo! lol!

A compliment is a beautiful thing. It has the ability to make us shine from the inside. In addition to letting us know we're on the right track with something, it also communicates that someone noticed. This can be a powerful validation, especially when given by our partner.
This week you'll use this tool to increase the communication and rapport with your partner. Each day you'll find ways to take a few minutes to notice what your partner is doing right and let them know.
Daily Task
Look for one thing each day that your partner has done or handled well. Make sure to make a comment on it.
For example, "I noticed how well our son works with you doing his homework. Nice job!" or "You really do a great job helping with the outside chores. I really appreciate the extra effort you give."
Weekly Tasks
Take note of a few routine cycles your partner does throughout the week. Leave a note where they would usually do the task telling them how well they do it.
Each day make some comment on their appearance or how you feel about them. For example, "You look great today." "That cologne smells wonderful." "You're sexy!"
If you have time, write them a letter or a note inside of a card sharing the things you appreciate and feel lucky for. Mail it or leave it in a spot they will find and can read privately.

Managing Your Finances to Live Happily Ever After
In the words of John Lennon, “money can’t buy me love.” But money may lead to divorce. According to a study by the Creighton University Center for Marriage and Family, money is a leading reason couples fight and one of the main causes of divorce. If you’re planning on tying the knot anytime soon, now is the time to sit down with your groom-to-be and go over your finances.
Here are a few tips to make sure that money doesn’t get in the way of "happily ever after."
- Discuss and set long-term goals. Be open and honest in discussing your finances. Determine what is important to both of you, and agree to work together to accomplish your goals, whether they include paying off your debt, saving for a down payment on a home, or retirement planning. If you’re both on the same page for your long-term goals, you’re less likely to argue about short-term spending.
Determine how you will handle the day-to-day management of your finances. Often one spouse will be more inclined to manage the finances. That’s fine, but make sure that both are aware of what’s going on.
- Create a monthly spending plan. Create a plan outlining what you are going to do with the money you earn. Use a secure online spending management program like Mvelopes Personal (www.mvelopes.com) to automate your plan and make tracking easy. Use online bill pay to set up automatic transfers into a savings account to make saving simple. You can also set up automatic payments on your mortgage, car payment, credit card, or just about any other bill to avoid late payments (and the accompanying arguments). Most banks offer online bill pay and Mvelopes includes a free online bill pay service.
Set aside some “fun money” to cover the occasional impulse buy. Most budgets fail because people feel constrained by them. If you have some wiggle room, you’re much more likely to stick to your plan. Some couples prefer a “his spending” category and a “her spending” category – that way, so long as you have the money in your category, you can get those perfect shoes when you find them, without feeling guilty. And he can get that new golf club.
- Start planning for your future…NOW. This may be the most important thing you can do for yourself. Your wedding should be the start of a wonderful life together, but if you really do want to live happily ever after, you need to start planning for tomorrow today. Set aside some money in your spending plan for a retirement account. Contribute to a 401(k) or set up an automatic transfer to an IRA. Time can be your biggest ally, or your worst enemy. The sooner you start, the easier it will be. Start today. Start now.
Money isn’t everything, and discussing your finances now won’t necessarily ensure that you’ll end up millionaires, but it may help avoid arguments later on. According to a study by economists David Blanchflower and Andrew Oswald, married people are healthier, both physically and psychologically, they live longer, they earn more money and they’re happier. In fact, about $100,000 per year would be needed to compensate for the happiness achieved through a lasting marriage, according to the study. And isn’t that why you’re getting married in the first place…to live happily ever after?
